Founding Principles of Chiba Keiai Senior High School

"敬天愛人" Keiten Aijin

The word “KeitenAijin” (Worship Thy Heaven, Love Thy Neighbour) appears in the teachings of Takamori Saigo, a leader of Meiji restoration.
In this expression, “ten” means reason to govern nature and the universe . “jin” stands for all human beings. It also refers to society.
Nagatoro, Masaji was deeply impressed by this spirit of respecting reason and loving your fellow men. As a result, he adopted this ideal as his central principle, and named our school “Keiai” in order to pass it down to future generations..
